I think you stood up laughing. The grave clothes tumbled from a brand new body. The sun shone through holy holes in healing hands, and you laughed. I see you standing by the open grave, the empty tomb, and there are lines around your mouth, smile lines and maybe dimples. Maybe dimples and maybe crinkles

Jill dragged me to this party, and I’m still thinking of the book I left at home and the glass of wine I planned to sip while reading said book. I should have slipped it into my purse. Maybe I could find a quiet room in this big house and sneak in a few chapters.
